Pupils who have studied with me have gone on to continue their musical studies at prestigious establishments such as the RSAMD in Glasgow,  Oxford University, and Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. Another former pupil has recently been heard plaing the piano live on Radio 1!

The majority of pupils stay with me right through their school years-which gives me the great reward and satisfaction of seeing a person go from taking their first, tentative steps into the world of piano playing through to being an accomplished, confident performer who appreciates the diverse richness of music.

I  expect every pupils to do their own personal best, whether that is achieving Grade 8 (or above!) with distinction, or achieving their first piece hands together after months of hard work. 

Nearly all my pupils have come to  me through personal recommendation, be that through parents, the pupils themselves, or the heads of music in local schools. Many travel considerable distances to learn with me.
